NOTE: Other Symposium attendees have the evening off. Dinner can be bought near the hotel or is a short walk down to the Claremont village. We'll have info in packets that you can pick up at the Double Tree Hotel.
FRIDAY, April 5 FIELD TRIPS AND GROUP MEETINGS
7:45 am Light breakfast available at bus/vans, participants should get own hot beverages to go. Pick up you lunch BEFORE getting in your trip vehicles.
8:15 am Bus and Vans departs from Double Tree for day-long field trips: "Mecca Hill/Imperial Valley and Pacific Coast at San Onofre"
Field trip leaders: Eric Grosfils/Jade Star Lackey (Coast)
Bob Gaines, Linda Reinen (Desert); bring/wear boots, day pack, water bottles, notebook, hand lens sun screen.
4:30-5:00 pm Bus/Vans return to Double Tree - brief rest stop
5:30 pm Sagecoach (25 /trip) and vans begin trips for Campus - Edmunds Building
Those with personal or rental vehicles should drive over from Double Tree.
5:45 pm Start Pizza Dinner for all participants in the Edmunds Building Lobby
6:00-10:00 pm Project Organizational Meetings, Edmunds and Lincoln Building

SATURDAY, April 6 RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS AND BANQUET
7:45-8:30 am Breakfast/Coffee In Rose Hills Theater Annex-Sagecoach starts trips at 7:30 (25/trip) to Pomona Campus. Those with personal or rental vehicles drive over, park on designated streets. The 1.1 mile trip takes ca. 5 minutes by car, 20 minutes on foot (maps will be in your packets).
Those making morning presentations should arrive by 8:00 to mount posters.
Those making afternoon presentations should take later shuttles.

Student Presentations:
Posters: All students present posters (dimensions are 4 feet x 8 feet wide maximum). It is recommended that posters be sized somewhat smaller for ensuring fit to the poster boards.
