Mike Loudin from ExxonMobil visits F&M

Mike Loudin, Manager - Global Geoscience Recruiting & New Hire Development at ExxonMobil, recently visited F&M to give two talks and hand over a check for $25,000 from the ExxonMobil Foundation to support the Keck program for 2009-2010. Mike spoke to students and faculty in the Department of Earth & Environment about "Energy in the 21st Century: Issues and Priorities" and to students about curricular issues and job opportunities in the energy field.

The ExxonMobil Foundation grant will support general project costs, fund two grants for students from underrepresented groups, and partially fund the 2009/2010 Keck Research Symposium to be held in Houston in April 2010.
